Francis Bruce Kuszewski

Francis “Bruce” Kuszewski, age 75, passed away Thursday morning, July 25, 2024 at his home in Henderson, Nevada. The son of the late Frank E. Kuszewski, D.O. and Eveline S. (Rejman) Kuszewski, he was born on May 9, 1949 in Detroit and was raised in Bay City, Michigan. Bruce graduated from Bay City St. Joseph High School and Central Michigan University. Soon after college, he moved to Las Vegas where he has resided since, but has remained an avid Detroit Lions and Tigers fan. Bruce worked as a claims representative for All State Insurance for 25 years.

On July 28, 1987 Bruce was united in marriage to the former Norma R. Careaga and she survives his passing along with his stepdaughter, Emily Tull. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Jerry Careaga; a sister-in-law, Yolanda Careaga; and his three devoted dogs, Junior, Rascal and Choo Choo; several cousins in the Detroit area; and numerous friends in Bay City.

On Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., Rite of Committal Prayers will take place graveside at St. Patrick Cemetery, 805 Ridge Rd., Bay City, MI 48708. Fr. Patrick O’Connor will preside.
