Gudrun H. Coody, age 80, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024. She was born in West Berlin, Germany on January 27, 1943. Gudrun was a caring wife, a mother, grandmother and beloved friend. Later in life she met her best friend and soulmate, Bill Coody, whom she married in 1963. May her beautiful spirit rest in peace as a bright soul to light up the Heavens.
Gudren is survived by her husband, Billy Coody; her children: Don Coody (Christine) and Barbara Nickerson (Brent); and her grandchildren: Michael S. Klein, Casey Nickerson, Mariah La'Torre Coody, Mikayla La Torre Coody, Joshua Cleveland, Charles Emil, Samuel Emil, and Alexander Emil.
A visitation for Gudrun will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM where she will be laid to rest in Palm Henderson Cemetery.
