James C. Anderson

James C. Anderson, age 93, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024. He was born in Los Angeles, California to his parents Reuben and Sarah Anderson. The family relocated first to Reno, Nevada prior to settling in Henderson at the age of 12. James graduated from Basic High School and went on to enlist in the US Navy.

After his service, James went to work as an Electrician with the IBEW. He would marry the love of his life, Bettylou on December 29, 1957. Shortly following, James would open his own business Lopeman and Anderson which lasted for about a year. He would then open his own Insurance Business that he owned and operated until 1986 when he would retire.

James and Bettylou loved golfing, and were founding members of the Black Mountain Golf Course. When he was not enjoying his favorite past time, James and his wife, loved to travel to their cabin in Montana where they would snowbird for several months of the year. They also enjoyed taking cruises and traveling at every opportunity. James lived his life to the fullest, and will truly be missed by all those closest to him.

James was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his sister, and brother. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Lynn; niece, Carol; and his grand nieces and nephews.
