James William Christ II

James William Christ II of Henderson, Nevada, left this world to be with God on July 19, 2019. He was born on August 14,1987 to George Michael Christ and Karla Jeanene Smith Trueworthy in Anderson, Indiana.

James had a passion for Martial arts and eastern thought. By the age of 14 he was a world champion Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do (Thank you Annette Coffee and all of his other Sensei’s for their devotion to him). He graduated from Basic High School in 2005, attended Community College in Las Vegas, and became an EMT II. He was a first responder at the Strip shooting in Las Vegas on 10-1-17. He worked for Petroleum Maintenance and Service of Las Vegas, Nevada.

James was preceded in death by his namesake and uncle, James William Christ; YaiYai, Christine D. Christ; Popou, George Christ Sr.; Grandda, Carol J. Stewart; Grandpa, Albert M. Stewart, and cousin Alex Christ. He leaves behind his mother and stepfather Karla and Danny Trueworthy of Henderson, Nevada; his father and stepmother, George and Goli Christ of Round Rock, Texas; sister’s: Angela and her husband Drew Burkholder, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Autash and her husband, Sylvester Hernandez, of Hutto, Texas, and Tiffany Haynes of Brownsburg, Indiana; niece, Charlotte Burkholder; nephews: Grayson Burkholder, Dallas Hernandez and Zayden (AKA Zay Zay) Hernandez; aunt’s: Marchele and her husband Clifford Kunkle, Denice and her husband Kevin Hamilton, Christy Sue Christ and her husband Pete Martin; uncle’s: Terry and his wife Marthea Christ, William Christ, Tommy and Debbie Christ, Kenneth and Christine Smith, Scott and his wife, Elaine Stewart; and a list of cousins (AKA siblings) and friends that loved him deeply.

A visitation for James will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, Nevada 89015. A funeral service will occur Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1002 Burkholder Blvd., Henderson, Nevada 89015.
