He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and received a Bachelors Degree in Engineering. John had a career in the United States Air Force. He obtained the rank of Lt. Colonel. He worked as an engineer in the space program for Macdonald Douglas.
John married the love of his life, Nancy Beisber on June 4, 1958. They were married for 63 years. John had a passion for flying and history.
He is proceeded in death by his mother; Mary Barden Wells and father; John T. Wells, Sr.. He is survived by his loving wife; Nancy, sons; Richard and Robert and daughter; Jennifer, Brother; James Barden Wells.
Services will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 9:20 in the morning at the Southern NEvada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
