Leonard “Lee” Aguirre, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was born in Kerrville, Texas, on September 25, 1943, and lived to 81 years of age. In 1968, he married Sally Flores Aguirre at the age of 24, and they remained happily married for the next 57 years. Her love for him only grew stronger in his final days, walking hand in hand with him until he reached heaven’s gates, never leaving his side until God called his name.
Leonard was as outstanding as he was loved. A soulful singer, a captivating storyteller, and ambitiously funny. The light of his spirit burned bright, never did it flicker or fade. With soft eyes and a bright smile, Leonard moved at his own pace. He was a raging fire of a man, proud to be himself. He made the world, and the lives of those who knew him, a better place. For that, he will be remembered far beyond his last breath.
Find peace and understanding in the Lord’s words.
