Loretta Schofield

Loretta Schofield, age 88, of Boulder City, Nevada passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was born in Wilmington Delaware. Loretta entered in the U.S. Army on June 23, 1954 as a Medical Specialist. She served honorably for three years. For her hard work and dedication to duty, she was awarded the National Defense Medal, the American Campaign Medal for her service in Germany, and a Good Conduct Medal. She was honorably discharged as a Specialist on June 21, 1957.

Loretta worked as a manager in Banking for many years. She relocated with her foster sister from Chicago to Nevada where she would meet many new friends. She was an amazing person, had a big heart, and always had a smile. She liked to go to her friends house for potato soup and peanut butter sandwiches. She liked to play darts and go for rides in the sandrail.

Loretta was loved by many, and will truly be missed by all of her friends. Loretta was laid to rest with military honors, privately, with her closest friends at Palm Henderson Cemetery, in Henderson, Nevada.
