

LORRAINE MARY CORONEOS, 54, passed away at her home in Henderson, Nevada, on Friday, September 9, 2016. Lorraine was born in Henderson on July 31, 1962, to parents Paul and Marika Coroneos. She graduated Basic High School in 1980 and the University of Nevada, Reno in 1988. She worked for the Bureau of Reclamation in Boulder City, Nevada for 28 years. Lorraine loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. She loved animals and always had her dogs with her. Her love of horses began as a teen. Lorraine’s companion of over 26 years was her horse, Rhett. He was her inspiration to start “Horse Sense” coaching for young women and teenage girls to become more self-confident and focused by experiencing a relationship with horses. Rhett was her coaching partner. Lorraine was preceded in death by her father Paul and brother Nick Coroneos. She is survived by two sons, Derek Siano and Ryan Siano; mother, Marika Coroneos; sister, Elayne Coroneos; niece Marissa Smerek; nephew, Jimmy Smerek; all of Henderson; along with many cousins. She also leaves behind her beloved animals, including, Rhett. Services will be held at 5:00pm (visitation from 3:00-7:00) on Thursday, September 22nd at Palm Mortuary-Henderson, and Funeral at 10:00am on Friday, September 23rd at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
