Mary Alice Mooney, 84 of Boulder City, NV, passed away Nov. 17, 2012. She was born in Holdenville, OK on July 31, 1928. Mary Alice graduated from Holdenville High School and received a Master’s Degree from the University of Nevada Reno. She was married to Chester Mooney on July 31, 1948.
Mary Alice was an Elementary School Teacher for 32 years at Robert Taylor Elementary School in Henderson. She was a member of Alphi Chi – Nevada Delta Kappa Gamma and had a passion for family, reading, writing, artistic painting.
She was survived by her children, Dennis Mooney and Sue Robbins, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and 1 brother.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV.
