

Mary T. White November 23, 1933 – October 29, 2017 Mary T. (Grealish) White, of Henderson Nevada, formerly of Galway, Ireland, Boston and Quincy, Massachusetts, passed away on October 29, 2017 at the age of 83 years. The devoted wife of William W. White and cherished mother of Maureen A. White, William P. White and his wife Kayoko Masuda White, Carol A. White, Patricia M. White-Lawrence and her husband Dean Lawrence, Mary T. Manning and her husband Doug Manning and James F. White and his wife Liza Sirota White. A loving grandmother to Kurtis, Cynthia, Justin and Kyle Hallquist; Conner, Cameron, Liam, Aidan and Bailey Lawrence; Nolan, Olivia and Maegan Manning; Caitlin and Patrick White and great grandmother to Priscilla Bastarache. She will be deeply missed by numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends. Mary was the daughter of the late Mary nee Flaherty and Patrick Grealish of Carraroe & Muckinagh. She was the loving sister to the late Bridie O’Connor, Michael Grealish and Stephen Grealish. A devoted sister to Kathleen Faherty, Ann Faherty, Maggie Grealish, Barbara Joyce, Julia Folan, Teresa Mullen, Eileen Perkins, Nora McDonagh and Sara Conolly. Mary was born in Muicineach, Camus, Galway, Ireland on November 23, 1933. She lived for many years in Boston and Quincy, Massachusetts where she raised her family of six children before settling in Henderson, Nevada. Mary worked for the Quincy Public school district for more than 30 years before retiring and moving to Nevada. Mary was a devout and long-time member of Sacred Heart Parish in Quincy, Massachusetts and St. Peter the Apostle Church in Henderson, Nevada. She was known for her love of her family, the church, bingo, traveling, Irish music and any Boston sports team, especially the Boston Red Sox. Throughout her life she maintained an unassuming and welcoming manner that won the hearts of many. God gifted Mary with an easy-going demeanor and generosity of heart. For those who were blessed to know her and be part of her life, she will be deeply missed. A life well lived, but gone too soon and a legacy that will not be seen again in our lifetime.
