Ralph J. Fusco

Ralph Jimmy Fusco, 85 of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at St. Rose, Sienna Hospital surrounded by his family. Ralph was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Stephan and Mildred (deStefano) on June 8, 1929. The family relocated to Southern California in the 1930’s. Ralph attended schools in Los Angeles and then joined the Military serving in the U.S. Army in Korea. Upon his return he went to work for Oroweat Bakery in Montibello, California and worked there until his retirement. He was the Manager for all Fleet operations. He then moved to Oxnard, California and worked for a time at Ford Motors, in the parts and service department. Ralph was a great story teller and had a wonderful sense of humor. His family recalls many wonderful hours of stories. He enjoyed motorcycles, cars and his beloved cats. He is survived by his long time loving companion of over 40 years Jane Traucht, Two brothers, Stephen (LeeAnn) of Medford, OR and Philip (Joyce) of Easton, MD, four nieces, seven great-nieces and great-nephews, and his loving neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ralph will be inurned at the Boulder Veterans Cemetery. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Nov. 21, 2014 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada
