Robert Jesse Norris Jr.

Robert Jesse Norris, Jr. was born November 11, 1940 in Birmingham, Alabama to Robert Norris and Lillie Mae Moses. He was the oldest of 7 children. He was proceeded in death by his parents, sisters, Jackie Irwin, Juliette Atkins, brothers, James & David Allan Norris and beautiful wife, Bessie Norris.

Robert attended CA Tuggle Elementary School before graduating from AH Parker High School. Robert went on to serve his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force for four years. After serving his country he up routed to California where he met his wife, Bessie Lee Griffin and to this union they were blessed with four sons, Robert the III, Chris, Martin and Kevin.

Robert became a member of New Hope Baptist Church in California and continues his education at Cal State Long Beach where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. With his education, Robert became an Aerospace Engineer working for big companies such as Hughes and Douglas Aircraft before retiring to Las Vegas where he lived the remainder of his life. Still eager to work and influence lives, he worked for the Clark County School District for 12 years before retiring for good.

Robert found a church home at Restore of the Breech Ministries before going to see the Lord on May 2, 2018.

He leaves to mourn his Brother, Herman Norris, Sister Jonelle Teague, Four Sons and 3 Step Daughters, Bobby his wife Carla, Chris his wife Michelle, Martin his wife Monice and Kevin, 12 Grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jaquan, Kaden, Ursula, Chris Jr. Coreyon, Creauni, Marchaun, Maurea, Makenna and Laylee, wife Miranda and a host of relatives and friends.
