Roberto Perez

Roberto Perez, age 81, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Roberto was born on May 9, 1943 in Puerto Rico. He graduated high school in Puerto Rico and received a Refrigeration Maintenance Mechanic degree from Hartnell College. He married the love of his life, Beverly Lewis, on July 9, 2005.

Roberto went on to work for Hartnell College, he also spent time as a truck driver and did maintenance for the Sheraton Hotel. He had a passion for working on cars, he was always fixing something, and had a knack for being on top of things before they broke. He would rather buy something old to fix than buy something new, like a washing machine. Roberto loved helping anyone to fix their car or truck and he was never afraid to try something new.

Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, Rosario Perez Torres and Carmen Diaz Salgado. He is survived by his sons, Roberto Alejandro Perez Gonzalez of Puerto Rico, Jose Roberto Perez Benitez, of Texas, Carlos Roberto Perez Benitez of New York, and step son Robert C. Babcock; his wife, Beverly Lewis; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, located at 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
