I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Ron. I looked up to both of you as pillars when you were in Rochester. We had some great conversations and many chuckles. Ron seemed to be a gentle and kind man. May God comfort your hurt and may you look fondly on all the great memories.

   When you called us we felt such sorrow and sadness at the loss of such a wonderful friend.The memories we have will never be forgotten.
   Dave enjoyed the long talks with Ron and Ron G. and the extra,extra strong coffee Ron would make which would give Dave high blood pressure all the way home.Dave also enjoyed working with Ron on the remodel of his kitchen.
   The times we spent with Ron,you and the family were very special times.Ron was a great friend --we will miss him terribly.

Dear Nadine,

Nancy and I admire how you and Ron set an example of accepting life on God's terms. We know that it's Jesus Christ's faith in you that makes this possible. We are joining with our brothers and sisters in Christ in praying for you and your family.

Dearest Nadine:

I was VERY deeply saddened when you called to tell me that Ron had died.  Even though we were separated by miles, we were never separated in heart.  Your Ron and my Ron had a very strong bond of friendship, as you and I have, and their reunion had to have been something to see!!  Your Ron never EVER talked about his pain without a joke, he never complained to anyone and was a picture of laughter to all of us left behind.  I doubt there is ANYONE who will remember him any other way.  

I will never forget the very first time we had you over for dinner and the next week at church he said, I really enjoyed the company but I was vomiting all night after that meal and into the next day was sicker than a dog.  I felt so horrible.  I kept apologizing to him and two hours later, after church was over, he came up to me and said, Promise me you won't ever make that dish for anyone else again.  That only made it worse, and then, after what felt like a long pause of silence, both of our husbands burst out laughing, and your Ron put his arm around me and said, "Aw, I was kidding all along."  They were BOTH in on it and let me go for two hours thinking I had nearly killed your husband!!  

My heart breaks for you and the children and grandchildren who have lost so much in Ron's death.  All we have are memories and, for me, there is joy and laughter in those memories of your dear WARRIOR husband, which he truly was.  I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT that we will all be together again someday, and the laughter will renew that bond.  I can see his face and hear that laugh now!!

You are deeply loved, my dear friend.

WE will always remember Ron as a brave soldier who faced life with courage,honesty, and a keen sense of humor.  When we think of Ron, we always remember him sparring verbally with Janet H.: volleying words and jokes back and forth, with a big grin on his face.  What a pair those two friends were!  We enjoyed our times with him so much, and look forward to seeing him again when he is fully restored and healed: full of life and joy, and with that irrepressible twinkle in his eye!
Nadine, know you are in our prayers each day, you and all your family...We send our deepest sympathy and our love.

Nadine, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Ron was a great guy. You both always had a way of lighting up a room. I am sitting at your old dining room table as I write this. I am praying for God to comfort you and fill you with His peace, as only He can do.

Ron was a unique individual always honest upfront,a very trustworthy man.You could go to the bank with Rons words.
He fought long and hard but in the end he won as he is know in the presence of Jesus Christ our lord and savior.

Even though I don't seem to have a photo of Ron and Nadine, I have you clearly in my mind. Also all the children. (Have pictures of the 2 "little ones".) When you moved to Nevada, I still always thought of you as belonging to us. I am so sorry that Ron passed away. I just see him as kind, friendly, calm and with a sense of humor. Sending my love to you, Nadine, and Lonny, Carry, Chris and Julie. (spelling?)

I remember Ron who loved his family and had a sense of humor in spite of his suffering. Praying for comfort for Nadine and family and I hope to see Nadine again in the near future.

I remember well when Ron and Nadine and family were in Rochester, New York. I always enjoyed their company and was saddened when Ron and his family had to move out of Rochester to a drier climate for health reasons. Now I am especially saddened to read of Ron's passing. May God's peace be with the family.

I always found Ron and Nadine to be very warm and friendly.  Fun to be around.  Will be praying for the family to seek the Strength they need at this time.

Loved and will miss you so much, my Brother you were the best of the best.  Bob

A wonderful man. I admired his bravery and fortitude through all of his physical suffering.  He will be missed by friends and family.
