The Rose is a ROswand was always a Rose. But the theory now goes that the apple's a Rose and the plum is a Rose and so is the pear I suppose. What will next prove to be a Rose the dear only knows. You were always a Rose.
Grandma Tina, I just want you to know  that you were one of the kindest people I have ever met and I am going to miss you so much.  Thank you for bringing our family together all those years ago. If it weren't for you I wouldn't have my best friend/brother/cousin. I will never forget how the kids used to ride on your walker. We love you so much and I promise I will make you proud.

Hi Tina I miss you so much, here's a little poem for you written by Elizabeth Ammons,  

You can shed tears because they are gone, or you can smile because they lived. You can close your eyes and pray they will come back, or you can open your eyes and see all they for you, your heart can be empty because you can't see them, or you can be full of the love you shared. I was blessed to have a Best buddy like you, I am losted with out you, this poem maybe corny but you love the beach and it reminds me of you.  I am standing on the seashore.  a ship spreads her sails to the morning breeze, and starts for the ocean, she is an object of beauty  and I stand watching her until she fades over the horizon. Someone at my side says she is gone.  Gone from  our sight, that's all. The loss of sight is in us, not in her. At the moment someone says yes she is gone but there are others watching for her coming. Other voices will take up the glad shout. Look here she comes   Until we meet again, love you and miss you BBF

Hi Grandma. We love and miss you so much. I'm sorry we didn't get more time together, but we love all the toys and yummy food you would always give us. Our baby brother will be here soon, we can't wait to see if he looks like daddy and tell him all about you. Dont worry though, we will take care of daddy just keep an extra eye on him for us. Every year on Sean's birthday and Mothers day I would always thank you for bringing him into this world.. I will continue to do so. With out you I wouldn't have the amazing little family I have now. Your son may be my biggest pain but he is my greatest blessing. He is the best father to his kids and he is my bestfriend. We miss you so much . He's so upset you aren't here to watch your grandbabies grow up but i try to reassure you're still watching and so proud of him. I pray I live up to the standards of the woman you would want for your son. Thank you for everything. We will see you later. Love you. 

Memories I have so many from the beginning when we made a Santa's village out of popicle sticks she thought that was so pretty. She is my best friend, she would always be there for me either to give me that gentle push or give me a detour in life. I love you so much Tina you will be missed 

but you always made things fun. Ther are so many stories that I could start with "how many mother/daughters do this"... I'm so grateful for those memories! You have given me so much, in terms of the value of family we are some of the richest. You even made sure we had as much family in our life as possible. Again I'm so thankful that you showed up at Sheri's house, when me and my boys were sleeping on her floor, and you surprised us and said"Let's move to Vegas".  Because of that choice you made all our lives so much better. I would have nothing I do now without you doing that,  with you making sure we got back with my dad and stepmom and more family! I could go on forever with what you have done for us. I have so many fun memories, most of them include music, water, adventures and most of all YOU! I hope that I have expressed how much you have meant to us, and most of all how much I love you and will miss my best friend, my mom.

To my mother, 
 As I have always said my very 1st memory is of you and I together singing Hotel California- packing a suitcase I believe to move to Palm Springs with Mike( my new stepdad) thanks to whom I have my sister and my brother. From that 1st memory on, I think of ALL our adventures. I remember our weekend drives to -wherever- Los Angeles,Idlewild, the beach, the river on and on. 
 I will always treasure those spur of the moment trips. Like you loving to scare me on the mountain roads or making fun of me until I got on the roller coaster because you knew I would be mad at myself if I didn't get on it. I always gave you a hard time for moving me from the beach, but as usual you knew what you were doing by having us grow up in the desert, having those beautiful sunrise/sunsets and stars and outdoor living was great. You always made sure we had everything, I remember getting my boombox for Christmas and walking down the street showing it off. Of course the 1st of anyone to have it. I will always be grateful for everything you gave me, not just stuff... while you maybe weren't the greatest with finances, but you taught me some of what money was good for,  vacations,  fun times, smiles. While, you maybe weren't the best homemaker or chef in the kitchen but you taught me the most important thing about a house was making it home showing that kids lived there. The fact that ur collectables have always been happy meal toys so that it didn't matter if they were played with says so much. But they still always had ther place being on full display. When we were talking a few months ago and figured in my lifetime that we had not lived together for a maximum of 5 years just made me know that you have always been my best friend after being my mother 1 st. I think of all we went thru, a lot was hard,  but we ALWAYS had you as our rock. No matter what you always took care of us, maybe in a make shift pool that we dug out because we had no electricity in the middle of summer, 

Tina was not only a great mother, grandmother, wife, but a great confidant you felt comfortable laying your heart to. One of the most laid back and non-judgemental people I have ever met, Tina you will be greatly missed and always in my heart. 

Tina you were a mom not only to your own but to many others who's lives you touched including me when I was down and out you and your awesome family took me in and I'll never forget you Everytime to this day I see a Dr pepper sighn I think of you may you rest in peace with my mom in heaven and the good Lord .I will always have so much love for you and your family with love from one of your long lost addicted sons Joshua kettering

In the short time that I really got to know Tina, I was amazed at her warmth and attentiveness. She found the positive even in the worst circumstances and that is something I deeply respected. I could sit with her for many hours and have the best conversations that will forever be sealed in my heart. Her kind spirit and the friendship we formed will never be forgotten. 

Im not good at saying things about people,  so ill say this to Tina instead. Thank you for being such an incredible person.  For accepting me into your family no questions asked, and trusting me with your precious daughter. For all the little kindnesses and thoughtful things you did everyday. Would that i could match your grace, or strength. I will miss you always. Know that my heart is with you

Tina and I had a lot of fun together. We played bingo and went to boulder station so she could see the Christmas show. I will miss her a lot sending my thoughts and prayers to the family. 

Our 1st Boulder city Jamboree May 2019 Nana, and G.G. riding train with great grandbabies Mikey and Marcus.  Smiles all around! I will always cherish these memories.

You have been so much to me. My mother,teacher,my princess poppy, and my best friend! I miss you so much. Thank you for teaching me so much in life. I will miss our adventures. Until we meet again. I love you more than I can ever say.
