Vicente Pineda Arciga

Vicente Pineda Arciga, age 85, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021. Vicente was born April 5, 1935 in Pampanga, Philippines to Cecilio and Belen Arciga. Vicente was the oldest of six children. He had two brothers: Alfredo and Jesus; and three sisters: Cecilia, Ester, and Encarnacion. Vicente and lived in the Philippines for 50 years until moving the United States.

Vicente married his soulmate and love of his life, Arsenia, on June 15, 1957; at the San Fernando Cathedral in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. The couple were blessed with five children: George, Vicente Jr., Susana, Marita, and Teresa; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Vicente started working as a Volcanologist in 1959. In 1974, he started his Tire Business, which he owned and operated in the Philippines. In 1989, Vicente retired, and decided to start a new chapter in his life, relocating to the United States.

Vicente was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather; who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was generous and kind, and always had the right words of wisdom to offer; and at the ready to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. If Vicente wasn't gardening, you could find him watching the news, Boxing, Basketball, action movies; or playing his favorite slot machine at local casino. Vicente also enjoyed traveling with his wife. His favorites were Hawaii, Cruises to Alaska, Cruises to Caribbean, visiting the holy land, Portugal and Italy.

Vicente was a man of faith and principal. He lived life to the fullest, and shared all that life has to offer with his family and friends; He will truly be missed by all.

A visitation for Vicente will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. A funeral mass will be at 1:00 PM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 204 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Vicente will be laid to rest at Palm Henderson Cemetery, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.

Due to Covid-19, all government restrictions will be in place, and all guest in attendance will be required to wear a mask.
