Victor Paglio Jr.

Victor Paglio, Jr., 71, a retired Compliance Investigator with the Office of the Nevada Attorney General, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born on January 11, 1954, in Providence, Rhode Island, Victor was the son of Lydia Anna (DiPrete) and Victor Paglio, Sr. He grew up in N. Providence and graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1975 with a B.S. degree in Business, Organizational Management, and Industrial Relations.

Victor moved to Las Vegas shortly after graduation. In 1981, he married his childhood best friend, Donna Maria (Ditri) Paglio, and in 1985, the couple returned to RI to start their family. Building his career in Retail Banking, quickly advancing to Commercial Lending and Loan Recovery.

In 1996, Victor and his family returned to Henderson, NV, where he resided for the next 29 years. He continued his banking career with Nevada State Bank, serving as V.P. of Loan Recovery for 16 years. In 2017, he transitioned to the Office of the Nevada Attorney General, supporting financial fraud investigations.

Victor was known for his altruism and love for golf. He volunteered with Special Olympics and Junior Achievement of RI, participating in numerous charity golf tournaments alongside public figures, including Charles Barkley and Joe Pesci. He served as a member of Toastmasters, as a guest speaker at Foothill, Del Sol, Desert Springs, and Las Vegas Academy high schools. Victor partnered with YES Inc. and D.E.C.A. to educate students about credit, loan instruments, and personal finance.

Victor will be remembered for his vibrant personality, passion, mentorship, humor, generosity, magnetic charm and handsome looks. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna M. Paglio; and his sisters, Trish A. Paglio and Lydia E. Paglio. He is survived by his children, Victor Paglio III and Veronica Marie Paglio; his sister Barbara E. Cameron; and his grandchildren, Paxton Elizabeth and Paige Marie Paglio.

Victor’s memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2025 at 1pm-3pm at Palm Mortuary – 800 S. Boulder Hwy Henderson, NV.
