

Victor Adam Ramirez "Slick" passed away on January 22, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 43, as a result of pancreatic cancer.
Victor was a compassionate, loving soul, determined to be heard, and adventurous from his first step. Born in Fremont, California, on 28 July 1982, “Lil” Victor seemed to have lived several lifetimes throughout his short time with us.
Always a protector and advocator for others and an immense passion for his country and the things, people, and organizations that fed his passion points. He volunteered his time and talents throughout his life within the various communities in which he lived. Participating in organizations such as Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Vegas Elite Riders, Rider SOS (Board Secretary), Las Vegas COC (Chairman of the Board), and DAD Inc. Victor was a member of Central Christian Church, and for many years prior, led groups of multi-denominational men in prayer and discussing and studying theology.
Victor began his military career as a Reservist in 2006, completing BCT at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and AIT at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He then volunteered for Active Duty in 2007, feeling it was his duty to protect his family and Country during the ongoing conflict. Completing 2 combat tours in Iraq, in OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom), Victor was attached to the 54th Engineer Battalion of the 535th Engineer Support Company, 18th Engineer Brigade as a 240 Gunner. His first duty station was Camp Stryker, Iraq. He was later stationed at Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii.
Awards earned included: Army Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Meritorious Unit Commendation (2nd Award), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award), Army Lapel Button, Overseas Service Bar (1st Award), Authorized Should Sleeve Insignia for Former Wartime Service, Expert Marksmanship with a Rifle, and Certificate of Achievement (2nd Award).
Victor was awarded Cavalry Spurs during his time in combat, the Order of the Spur “Headhunters” at FOB Hunter, Maysan Province, Iraq. On 14 September 2008, he was honored, “With saber in hand and having displayed those traits associated with all accomplished Cavalry Troopers: Skill, Audacity, Cunning, Dash and Fervor, hereby entered onto the rolls of the Order of the Spur, and is authorized to wear “Combat” Spurs which the honorary Calvary Trooper will wear from this day forevermore.” This is an award of distinction, a tradition with roots in knighthood, representing the best of the best, and embodies all that has been.
Upon returning from deployment, A Resolution from the City of Fremont, his birthplace, was awarded to Victor to honor his service to our great Nation on 9 January 2009, recognizing his dedication, stating gratitude for his contributions, and being a defender of freedom. Victor left the US Army after he earned the Rank of Sergeant in 2013.
Throughout his life, Victor enjoyed the outdoors, singing, BBQing, and most of all joking around, laughing, and having fun with friends and family. Family to Victor was not just those of blood, but those of mutual respect, loyalty, and honor. He felt his most authentic and free while on his motorcycle, and the brotherhood and comradeship it gave him, and to that brotherhood he was continuously dedicated.
Victor left us all too soon. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kristin; his father, Victor Sr.; his mother, Julie; his step-mother, Paulette; his brothers: Luke (Ava) and Eric (Aiden and Banks); his grandparents: Garble and Mary. He is a cherished father and grandfather of Kassandra (Levi and Ivy), Lilliana (LJ), Natalie, Mariano, Stella, and stepdaughters: Alyxandra and Abigail. He is preceded by his son, Fabian, and grandmother, Pricilla Miranda. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends mourn his passing. None of our lives will ever be the same.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on February 21, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow, both at Palm Henderson Mortuary, 800 S Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015, where Victor will be honored for his service.
