On May 4, 1942 in Cuba, a beautiful baby was born to parents Nicolas and Ernestina. She was lovingly named Flora.
In her adult life, Flora was looked at as the Matriarch of the family. She took care of home and extended that same genuine care to her family, friends, and loved one. She was married to her Husband, Carlos Borges, for many years before his passing in 2007. On June 1, 2020, Flora departed this life leaving behind a host of people who miss her deeply.
When asked about Flora, her family remembers her as a humble, private and quiet person. Independent and Determined. Above all else, she was a great Mother, Grandmother and Mother-In-Law.
Flora is survived by her sons: Ernesto Borges & Carlos Borges. Her Daughter-In-Laws: Yadira Borges and Niurka Borges and her Grandsons: Carlos Borges, Christopher Borges, Andres Borges, Emilio Borges and Edward Gutierrez.
A Visitation for Flora will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Caballero Rivero Hialeah Funeral Home located at 373 West 9 Street, Hialeah, Florida, 33010. She will be laid to rest on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West Cemetery, 14001 N.W. 178 Street, Miami, Florida, 33018.
