• Died Thursday, July 18th, 2024 in his home surrounded by his loving family
Jason was a man full of life, kind, gentle, loving, and by far one of the best people to know. There was nowhere that he went that people did not like him or want to talk to him. He enjoyed a lifetime of friends. Some since he was 1 year old, and others as he kept getting older. He has had friendships that have lasted for over 40 years. God's plans are perfect, because he was such an angel he was needed in heaven to do more good deeds. He left a legacy of three beautiful kids (Bentley 11 years old, Logan 9 years old, and Layla 5 years old) who were his whole world. He leaves a wife, Hanneh, with whom he spent the last seven years being madly in love with. As he liked to say, they were soulmates and sweethearts.
He dreamed of being an elementary school teacher, but life took him on a different path. He became one of the best residential appraisers and he loved his job to the point that he worked endlessly. He assigned himself work two days before he passed away because he was so eager to get better and to provide for his family.
He was loved not just by his family but also by Jorge, his late father, Ana his mom, Dominick, his stepdad, Liz his sister, Jackie, best brother-in-law in the universe, Abuela Catalina, Jennifer (sister-in-law), and Marcos (brother-in-law), Yamil also the best brother-in-law in the universe, Chepe (brother-in-law), Claudina (Mother-in-Law), The Alvarez Clan (Willy, Alex, Barbara) and their significant others, Jennyfer Lopez (sister) and her family, Iso Cordoves (Mom), all his aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and especially his beautiful wife Hanneh and his three kids Bentley, Logan, and Layla for whom he fought so hard for a miracle until the very end. The Abey family, and The Montesino Family, it is a long list. He leaves friends who were close to his heart Oscar Otero, Javier Botta, Frank Marquez, Ricky Montesino, Frank, and too many to list.
He was a sports maniac, he loved everything sports-related especially Football, Basketball, and Soccer. Being a true Dolphins and Miami Heat fan, he lived to watch those games. It warms my heart that for every game he wore their jersey which is why we are honoring him by wearing jerseys at the wake.
He was a passionate man, full of life and joy, and bestowed his kindness to everyone he met. He gave the benefit of the doubt to everyone. He gave his full trust to people before they earned it, knowing that people could disappoint him later. He was so smart and clever, always trying to find solutions, that could be good for everyone.

Serenity Prayer
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
