Jose is survived by his son Marcos E. Cabrera; his son Evan E. Cabrera; his daughter Sarai Caridad Cabrera; and his son Julian Valentin; his father Victor M. Cabrera and his mother Mercedes Y. Cabrera; his long life partner Yamalel Rios, his niece Shanifer Velastegui, his niece Crisley Velastegui, his nephew Joelys Velastegui and his nephew Gustavo Velastegui.

A visitation for Jose will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Caballero Rivero Hialeah, 373 W 9 Street, Hialeah, FL 33010. A committal service will occur Friday, January 5, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at Caballero Rivero Dade North, 1301 NW Opa Locka Blvd, Miami, FL 33167.
