Luis Alfonso Corrales

Luis Alfonso Corrales was born in Miami, Florida on June 8, 1958 to parents Reynaldo and Martha. He fought courageously until his passing on August 30, 2022, at the age of 64. Luis, alongside the love of his life of 40 years, Caridad Lopez Corrales, cultivated a lifetime of memories, laughs and stories.

Luis is remembered as a dedicated husband, partner and friend, however his greatest role was being the ultimate cheer & baseball dad for his children. His family has always been his greatest joy, from celebrating his wife’s retirement, proudly watching his daughter recently graduate from the fire academy, and his son’s wedding. Luis was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones, traveling with friends, music and laughter, and you better believe there were drinks all around. He loved his Miami sports; the Dolphins and Marlins have kept him heartbroken all these years, but at least the Heat brought some fire (pun intended). However, baseball was a lifelong passion that coursed through his veins; whether he was on the field in any capacity or enjoying as a fan.

Luis is survived by his wife, Caridad. His daughters: Monica, Michelle and Jessica. His son: Luis Jr. He is also survived by 2 Grandchildren. Luis was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

In honor of the Life, Love & Legacy or Luis, a Visitation for him will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. until 12:00 A.M. at Caballero Rivero Hialeah Funeral Home, 373 West 9 Street, Hialeah, Florida, 33010.
