Nidia Ruiz De Serret

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nidia Ruiz De Serret who passed away on October 31, 2024 in Pembroke Pines, Florida, at the age of 80. Born on June 30, 1944, in Cuba, Nidia's life was one of warmth, resilience, and love.

Nidia’s spirit shone brightly, touching the hearts of all who knew her. She emigrated from Cuba to the United States with a dream of a better life and a fierce devotion to her family. A woman of boundless strength and kindness, Nidia lived her life filled with the values of love, respect, and unwavering dedication. She faced each challenge with grace and optimism, and her enduring faith in life’s goodness was an inspiration to all who crossed her path.

Nidia was the heart of her family, always ready to offer a word of encouragement or a warm embrace. Her laughter was contagious, and her joy for life was evident in every moment. She was a woman who cherished the beauty of each day, finding happiness in simple pleasures—whether sharing a meal with loved ones, travelling to different places or offering her wisdom and advice to those who sought it.

An overnight Visitation for Nidia will be held from Friday, November 8, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. until Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Caballero Rivero Hialeah Funeral Home, 373 West 9 Street, Hialeah, Florida, 33010. Nidia will be laid to rest on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. at Caballero Rivero Dade North Cemetery, 1301 Opa-Locka Boulevard, Miami, Florida, 33167.
