Adrian P. Seabock, Jr, 81, of Hickory, passed away on May 19, 2017 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born September 18, 1935 in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Adrian P. Seabock, Sr. and Edna Hawkins Seabock.
A lifetime member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, he was a graduate of Hickory High School and Caldwell Community College where he earned his Associates degree. A US Army veteran, he was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. He retired from Ellis Hosiery in the quality control department.
Adrian is survived by his son, James “Jimmy” Adrian Seabock and wife Sue; grandson, Corey Seabock and wife Samantha; granddaughter, Kayla Seabock; brother, R. Lynn Seabock; sister, Loretta Kuhn; nephews, Darrell Davis and Galen Davis; nieces, Sandy Huffman and Angela Pope and husband, Jody; and a number of cousins.
A Memorial Service celebrating Adrian’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church with Rev. Ryan Ray officiating. A reception will follow in Heritage Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, General Fund, 2780 N. Center Street, Hickory, NC 28601.
