

HICKORY—Alice “Jane” Sigmon Clarizio, 88 of Hickory, passed away peacefully at Trinity Ridge on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Born Alice Jane Page in Scranton, Pennsylvania on February 12, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Alice Peckham Page. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Willard Sigmon and husband Carl Clarizio and two brothers and a sister. Longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church. She is best remembered for her soft spoken voice, smile, and her ability to draw and sew. She is survived by two daughters, Sandie Cline and husband Jimmie of Wilkesboro, and Terri Sigmon of Newton; two sons, Robert Charles Sigmon and wife Virginia of Statesville, and Bruce Wayne Sigmon, of Hickory; stepson Bill Clarizio and wife Kimberly of Florida; brother Robert Page and wife Viola of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Christopher Cline and wife Tanya of Wilkesboro, Jonathan Cline and wife Ellen of Mooresville, and Matthew Cline of Mooresville; seven great grandchildren, Ayden, Charlie, Cameron, Macie, Oren, Eli, and Finley, and a step-grandchild Timothy DeHart of Statesville. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church.
The funeral will be Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at Christ Lutheran Church with Reverend Richard Schwandt officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
