Alma Kathleen Keller

Newton – Alma Kathleen White Keller, 95 of Newton went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 1st, 2024 at Abernethy Laurels surrounded by her family.

Born on December 30th, 1928 in Caldwell County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Sidney and Alice Hall White. Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Joseph Keller and a granddaughter, Season Amber Tucker, as well as a son-in-law, David Reinert.

Those left to cherish her memory include, 3 daughters, Becky Reinert of Surfside, SC, Teresa Bryson and husband, Johnny of Hildebran, NC and Sheila Tucker and husband, Scott of Hickory, NC; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church on Thursday, March 7th, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Pastors Paul Deal and Dean Hart officiating. Kathleen will be laid to rest at the church cemetery following the service.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring of Newton, Abernethy Laurels of Newton or Winkler’s Grove Baptist Church of Hickory in Kathleen’s name.
