Andy Lee, 38 of Hickory, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 25th, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on August 5th, 1986, in Fresno County, California, Andy is the son of Yer Vue and Dang Lee.
Those left to cherish his memory include, his mom, Yer Vue, two brothers, Mike Lee & John Lee, and two sisters, See Lee & Elizabeth Lee, two sisters in law, Nancy Vang & Mai Kou Yang and two brother in laws, Bee Xiong & Chai Yang and his girlfriend Kou Yang. Followed by his five nephews, Ethan Lee, Jase Lee, Keanu Xiong, Calvin Yang and Bryson Xiong and his five nieces, Adalyn Lee, Kaylin Yang, Kaylie Xiong, Iris Lee and Lily Lee.
Andy enjoyed life and the outdoors, he loved fishing and raising chickens. He loved being surrounded by all his friends “THE FORESS BOYZ”. He was a loving son and was a wonderful uncle to all his nephews and nieces. He was a devoted boyfriend to Kou. He was a dedicated employee: he worked until he could not work anymore. Andy found Christ and during his battle with cancer, he found solace.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm with Pastor Bee Khang officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to True Life Church or Carolina Caring in Andy’s name.
