Anita Ann (Beal) Huffman

It is with heavy hearts that we share Anita Beal Huffman, 76, entered eternal life surrounded by family on March 29, 2025. Anita Ann Beal was born to Earle and Wilma (Killian) Beal on August 25, 1948. She graduated from St. Stephen’s High School in 1966. On January 14, 1968, she was united in marriage to Paul Reese. Together they had 2 children, Sarah Leanne and Jason Phillip. They later divorced. On June 5, 2011, she married her high school sweetheart and soulmate, Ralph Huffman. Anita is survived by her husband Ralph, daughter Sarah (Chris) Ring of Elgin MN, and son Jason Reese of Hickory NC. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren Brenton (Maggie) Ring of Fort Collins CO, Jacob Ring of St. Paul MN, Seth Reese of Cornelius NC, Abby Ring of Austin MN, and Sam Ring of Elgin MN. Anita was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hickory Funeral and also one hour prior to funeral service.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 11:00 am at Hickory Funeral Home with Reverend W. Steve Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials in Anita’s memory be made to First Advent Christian Church of Hickory, 1941 North Center Street, Hickory, NC 28601.
