Arthur Lee Frederick

Born August 24, 1941 in Marion County, WV, he was the son of the late Otis Mann Frederick and Goldie Effie Bostic Frederick. A member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, he served in the Special Forces - Green Berets and taught school for over 35 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Vicki Jean Frederick; brothers, Edward Frederick, Frank Frederick, and Dale Frederick; and sisters, Kay Spiro and Rose Hall.

He is survived by his daughter, Julia LaRochelle and husband Greg; grandchildren, Kristen LaRochelle and Alex LaRochelle; brother, Kenneth Frederick and wife Linda and sister, Gladys Tennant and husband Joe.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 11, 2022 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Hooks officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday June 10, 2022 at Drum Funeral Home in Hickory.
