Mr. Berlyn Dean Ledford

Beryln was born December 17, 1942 in Clay Co. to the late John Carl and Addie Brooks Ledford.

He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, and retired from Duke Power Company.

Surviving are his wife; Martha Scarlett Ledford of the home,a daughter, Sherry Lynn Hartsoe and husband Michael of Hickory and a son, Bryan Keith Ledford and wife Joyce of Hickory, two grandsons, Cory Hartsoe of Hickory, Bradley Ledford of Hickory, a step- granddaughter, Angel Marlowe of Hickory, a step-grandson Erick Marlowe of Hickory, a Step great granddaughter, Hayleigh Marlowe of Hickory, two brothers, Jack Ledford and wife Carol of Claremont, Bill Ledford and wife Cindy of Salisbury and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 01st, 2011 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home with the Reverend David Keck officiating.

The family will remain at the funeral home following the service.
