Brenda was born on June 23.1950 in Blowing Rock, to the late Donald H. and Velma Coffey Knight.
.Surviving are a son; Shay Starnes of Hickory, a brother, Dean Knight and wife, Janice of Conover, granddaughter, Natalie Lambert of Newton, grandson, Dylan Starnes of Newton, step-grandson, Cody Lambert of Conover and a step-granddaughter, Cidona Lambert of Claremont.
Private graveside service will be held at 3:00 P. M. Sunday, October 13, 2013 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Cemetery with the Reverend Jeff Lindsay officiating.
