Bud Hull

HICKORY---Bud Hull, 89, passed away February 1, 2016 at Catawba Regional Hospice.Bud was born March 15, 1926 in Lincoln Co. to the late Noah L. and Ethel Craig Hull. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Hayes Hull; brothers, Hillard D. Hull and John Hull; sisters, Chalsa Hull, Dorothy Hull Lewis and Betty Hull Holbrook.. Bud was retired from Shuford Mills and a U. S. Army veteran.Surviving is a daughter, Shirley James and husband, Jerry of Conover; sons, Richard Hull of Hickory and Charles Hull of N.C.; grandsons, Bruce James and wife, Jennifer of Conover and Keith James and wife, Gena of Newton; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Mary M. Mellon of N. C.; brother, Don Hull of N. C..Services will be Thursday, February 4, 2016, at 11:00 A. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earnest Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.The family will receive friends Thursday, February 4, 2016, from 9:30 – 10:45 A.
