Carol Homer Bumgardner

He was born on May 1, 1945 in Lincoln County to the late Homer Dale and Mavis Hudson Bumgardner.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Christine Sherrill, and Mary Tyree and his brothers Dale Bumgardner and Melvin Bumgardner.

He is survived by his wife Brenda McCracken Bumgardner of the home; a daughter Lora Deal and husband Shanon of Hickory; a son Bobby Bumgardner of Claremont; 6 grandchildren Kayla Foy and husband Weston, Justin Bumgardner and Alexus, Kylie Bumgardner, Trinity Bumgardner, Jase Deal and Keelyn Deal; 3 great granddaughters Alayna, Rosie and Cali; his sister Melvine Carpenter; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 12:30pm to 1:45pm at Hickory Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 2:00pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eric Blankenship and Pastor Charles Ballard officiating.

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
