Carolyn Ruby (Sipe) Evans

Born in Catawba County on February 6, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Gwen and Ruby Bolick Sipe.

In addition to her parents, her husband Michael Howard Evans preceded her in death.

Her daughters Michele Evans of Statesville and Nichole Mellon (Darrell) of Taylorsville; son Michael Evans (Angela) of Lenoir; grandchildren Kayla Sigmon, Dylan Hubbard, Matthew Hubbard (Kristen), Tanner Mellon (Amber), Katie Mellon, Carrie Mellon Smith (Mason) and Aaron Mellon; great grandchildren Mackenna Carter, Madilyn Hubbard, Zayden Hubbard, Branum Mellon, Beau Hubbard , and Colson Mellon and brother Ray Sipe survive her.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.

Funeral service will be Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Richard Graf officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 4420 County Home Road, Conover, NC 28613.
