Christopher Dwayne Keller

Christopher Dwayne Keller, 54 of Conover went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Born on January 10th, 1972, in Ridgewood, Bergen County, NJ, Christopher was the son of the late James Clyde Keller and Edith Jeanette Keller (Diane).

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randy Allen Keller and his beloved father-in-law, Robert Patterson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 34 years, Evelyn Keller; 6 children, Bethany Victoria Keller Martinez (Christian Martinez Tapia), Jacob Patterson Keller, Matthew Christopher Keller, Christina Diane Keller (Stephen Miller), Aaron Michael Keller, Jared Isaiah Keller and his cherished granddaughter, Ophelia Jane Keller.

He is also survived by his sister, Jamie Keller Keener (Terry), brother, Michael Keller, and bonus sister, Tina Francesca Teodoro and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 503 Thornburg Drive NE, Conover, NC 28613 on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 1:00pm. with Bishop Yupheng Ly officiating. He will be laid to rest at Catawba Memorial Park following the service.

The family will receive friends at Catawba Funeral Home, located at 3060 US Hwy 70 SE, Hickory, NC 28602, Wednesday, May 27th from 6pm-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made by donation of funds to the burial fund, and by donating blood in Chris’s honor to your local blood bank.
