Chue Lee

Chue Chao Lee, 61 of Hickory, North Carolina, passed away on July 21, 2025. He was born on February 8, 1964, in Nam Ha, Laos to Nao Pao Lee and Pa Moua. Chue Chao was one of five siblings, with to brothers and two sisters. After Immigrating to the United States, he initially settled in Wausau, Wisconsin, before relocating to North Carolina, where he met and married his wife.

He was a devoted husband of Yer and a cherished father to Kou Lee, Nhia Lee, Kao Lee, Fue Lee, Ka Lee, as well as a loving father-in-law to Kia Hang and Tea Xayavong and Michael Yang. He was also a proud grandfather to Ashton Lee, Ryan Lee, Evelyn Lee, Daisy Lee, Stella Xayavong, Arabella Yang and Elias Yang.

Chue Chao will be fondly remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and wonderful sense of humor.

Funeral Services will be held at the Hmong Unified Chapel at 1914 N. College Ave, Newton, NC 28658 on August 15, 2025 - August 17, 2025. Doors open at 8:00 am on the August 15th.

Burial will be on August 17, 2025 at Burke Memorial Park, at 11:00 am.
