

David was born September 7, 1918 in McDowell Co. to the late David Andrew and Blanche Justice Hutto, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step mother, Elberta Rice Hutto, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
He was a member of Hildebran United Methodist Church, where he served as a Sunday School teacher for 38 years and was very active in the church. He was a member of the VFW, was sales manager for Flowers Auto Parts for over 60 years and a veteran of the US Army during WW 11 in the European theatre and served as a First Lieutenant.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Reinhardt Hutto of the home, sons: David A. Hutto, 111 and wife Sherry of Conover. And Steve Hutto of Hildebran, daughters: Patricia Ann Hutto of Hildebrand and Beth Hefner and husband Brent of Hickory granddaughters: Amy Wheatley and husband Scott and Sarah Hutto both of Hickory and a grandson: Clay Hefner of Hickory.
Services will be Sunday, January 9, at 3:00 P. M. at Hildebran United Methodist Church with the Reverend Tony Bowman officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with graveside military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #48.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:45 until 2:45 P. M. at the church.
