Newton – Debra Lynn Darnell, 67 of Newton went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Frye Regional Medical Center.
Born on April 26, 1954 in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Junior Robert Wright and Anna Laura Punch Wright.
In addition to her parents, Debra is preceded in death by her late husband Carroll Dean Darnell.
She is survived by her daughter Jessica L Darnell and grandchildren Gracie J’lynn Darnell, Robert Ayden Darnell and her son Roger A Darnell and grandchildren Bentley Ayden Darnell, Rylan James Darnell and a sister Connie L Wright and a nephew Eric Underwood.
A memorial service will be scheduled at later date at Catawba Funeral Home.
