

Denny Clay Little, age 75, of Hickory, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born May 18, 1937 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late John Dee Little and Helen Louise Beard Little Deitz. Denny was a member of Tri-City Baptist Church where he served as an usher. He owned and operated Unifour Truck and Trailer Repair. Denny loved people and enjoyed fishing and golf.
Denny Little was a man filled with love and laughter who brightened the lives of those who were blessed to know him. His earthly life ended in the place he called home here, but now is rejoicing to be in the true home he always longed for. He will always be missed and cherished by his family, friends, and especially his best buddy, Gracie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandy Bolick; brother, Tommy “Tom” Eugene Little; and sister, Mary Ann Jenkins.
He is survived by his son, Mark Little and wife, Marie, of Hickory; daughters, Wendy Beasley and husband, Steve, of Conover, and Bobbi Jones and husband, Jeff, of Hickory; grandchildren, Matthew Little, Makenzie Little, Clay Kincaid, Stacy Beasley, Bailey Huffman, Kasey Huffman, Keaton Huffman, Bryson Huffman, and Kamden Huffman; sister, Becky Lafone of Conover.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Tri-City Baptist Church in Conover with Rev. Ruffin Snow, Rev. Byron Repass, Rev. Hugh Whitfield, and Rev. James Hollar officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Pallbearers will be: Matthew Little, Clay Kincaid, Bryson Huffman, Kamden Huffman, Jeremy Repass, and Andrew Rader.
