I am so sorry to hear this, Earl was a fixture in my life as a child and young man, he and my Grandfather were friends and co- workers in the days before Happy Days, and he was there for me and my family for decades afterwards, I went to school with David and have not seen any of the Falls Family in years, shame on me, the world has truly lost a great man, but Heaven has received a great soul. My Condolences to the Family.

We will miss you Earl, you were always there to help us in our youth when the dollar didn’t stretch till the next payday. You gave us gas to get back and forth to work and bread and produce to feed the family. We always admired and loved you. You are an angel amongst others. We were blessed to have you. Spent many a day and many a dollar at Happy Day Grocery. So sorry to learn of Earl's passing. He always had a kind word and smile for everyone, and something you don't hear today: thank you.

I grew up going to Happy Day Grocery. My dad worked there on Tuesday nights and Sunday afternoons & Sunday nights. I always enjoyed visiting the store and talking to Earl. It was a big part of my childhood that extended into my teenage years and on into adulthood. I haven't seen Earl in many years but will always have fond memories of him sitting behind the register at Happy Day Grocery. May you rest in the arms of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Prayers of peace for the Falls family. May God bless and comfort you all through this difficult time and always.

Earl was my Sunday school teacher as a youngster at First Assembly of God church. He treated me just like a son and was always kind to me and the other kids in the church. I have many fond memories of his leadership in the church and his big smile to welcome one and all. To all of the family that is left to grieve, dwell on the good memories and know that he has gone to his heavenly reward and awaits us to join him one day. God bless each and every one of you.

I will never forget how kind Earl was to me as a 16-17 boy. He would let me buy $2.00 worth of gas at a time and I would pay him on payday. (Martin's Supermarket. My condolences. Earl was a gentleman.
