Born on April 4, 1934 in Knox County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Benjamin Rose and Mable Elizabeth Jones Rose.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James Broome Sr.; brother, Lloyd Rose Jr. and sister, Alice Rose Welmers.
She is survived by her sons, James Broome and wife Terri, David Broome and wife Catherine; daughter, Rebecca Earnhardt and husband Keith; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 1:00pm at Catawba Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Broome officiating. Burial to follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 12:45pm prior to the service.
