Elizabeth Ann Hinson, 82, of Hickory, NC, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at Abernathy Laurels Retirement Community. She was born December 12, 1942, to the late William Richard Beaver and Hazel Pope Beaver. Along with her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband John Hughes Hinson.
Ann was a graduate of North Rowan High School in 1960 and Kings Business College in 1961. She retired after working 20 years for the Social Security Office. Following retirement, she worked at Viewmont Pharmacy and the Hickory Museum of Art.
Survivors include her daughter Diana Feimster Corey of Banner Elk, NC; son Charles William Feimster Jr. of Charlotte, NC; stepdaughter, Erin Hinson and stepson, Mathew Hinson of Georgia; granddaughter, Piper Elizabeth Corey; grandson, Thomas Davidson Feimster; step grandsons Joseph and Michael Hinson; sister, Joyce Beaver Sprinkle of Rockwell, NC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 15, at 2pm at Catawba Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1pm – 2pm.
