

Born February 9, 1935 in the beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Esteban Jordan and Carmen Pi.
A proud veteran of the Marine Corp, with final rank of Sergeant, he was also known for his management work of a large lamp manufacturing company in Hickory for many wonderful years, as well as an avid Brooklyn Dodgers fan!
Survived by his wife, Ruth Jordan; daughters, Annette Alfonso, Ivonne Mendez; and Jo Ann Jordan; son, Steve Jordan; sister, Maria Guzman; brother, Rafael Jordan; grandchildren, Joseph Rodriguez, Cynthia Marie Mendez, Steven Rodriguez, Alexa Mendez, Marc Anthony Rodriguez, Leah Rose and Samuel Jordan; and great-grandchildren, Alexander Rodriguez, Jaylene Rodriguez, Rosalia Rodriguez, Matthew and Imalai.
An adoring husband and father, devoted grandfather and great grandfather, he is missed and will always be loved.
A small memorial service will be held in his honor at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory with Pastor Bill Millinor officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
