Newton – Everett Lee Moose, 68 of Newton completed his journey on earth on January 7, 2019 and is now at rest with his Savior.
Born on September 29, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Harold Everett and Odessa Lee Moose. His goal in life was working hard and taking care of his family. He loved working outdoors and enjoying nature especially with his grandson Jacob who was more like a son to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Martha Moose of the home; 2 step children, Tonya Mann and husband Steve of Morganton and Brandon Woodie of Wilmington; grandchildren include, Jacob, Donovan, Olivia and Gianna.
There will be no typical memorial service, however there will be a small family gathering at a later date.
