Gene Harvell

Gene was born January 12, 1942 to the late Mack and Irene Harvell of Johnson City, TN. He served in the National Guard. He worked at G.E. and was owner of Hickory Clutch Supply until he retired. He was an active member of Foothills Antique Power Association.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Brenda Hardin and brother-in-law Roby Hardin, nephew Mark Hardin and brother-in-law Hugh Sullivan, and son-in-law Nathaniel Stewart.

He is survived by his wife Dianne Harvell; daughter Regina Stewart; grandchildren Codi Stewart and Wesley Stewart; great grandchildren, Silas Stewart and Lyla Stewart and Carson Wards; sister Faye Sullivan, all of Johnson City, TN; niece Tamara Day( Tom) of Bluff City, TN and nephew Matt Stewart of Conover; brother-in-law Russell Johnson (Sue) of Hickory.

Special Friends Eddie and Nadine Presnell, Bradley and Candy Richey, Bobby and Jennifer Franklin, Howard Williams, and Teddy Hefner.

Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church, 825 Lenoir Rhyne Blvd SE, Hickory, NC 28602, and special thank you to Pastor Lloyd King.
