George Odus Lee Boyles

George was born on September 8, 1924 in Lincoln Co. to the late Bruce and Annie Mull Boyles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Putman Boyles who passed away in 2002.

He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, US Army Veteran of World War ll and retired as a sample department supervisor at Drexel Heritage Furniture in Hildebran.

Surviving are his daughters; Linda Truett and husband, Tony of West Columbia, SC, Kathy Hammonds and husband, Steve of Lawndale, NC; a grandson, William Truett and wife, Amanda of West Columbia, SC; a brother, Pearlie Boyles of Long View and a sister, Novella Reese of Hildebran.

A graveside service will be Saturday, April 21, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Catawba Memorial park with the Rev. Walter L. Hitchcock officiating.
