She was born on February 1, 1949, to the late Thurman Ray Punch and Muriel Evans Punch in Catawba County.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Thompson Canipe Jr., sister, Brenda Spencer and brothers, Ernest Punch and Tim Punch.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Judy Spencer and Janie Klotzle; nieces, Tammy Spencer, Angie Speagle, Ashley Maltba, Nicole Williams and nephews, Eric Spencer and Nicholas Klotzle.
A private family graveside will be held at Catawba Memorial Park.
