She was born on December 10, 1941 to the late Bev Haas and Ruth Foard Haas in Caldwell County.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Roberts; brothers, Bobby Haas and Charles Haas.
Survivors include her daughters, Bernice Roberts of Hickory, Shirley Hendrix and husband Scott of Gastonia; son, George E. Roberts and wife Linda of Lenoir; grandchildren, Leslie Kirby, Melissa Adams, Chad Hendrix, and Chris Hendrix; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Williams and husband Alvin.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at Baton United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:00 until 4:30 p.m. at the church. Rev. John Harold and Rev. Alan Boliek will be officiating the service.
