Helen "Sis" Hildebran Sain

Helen “Sis” Hildebran Sain, 81, of Connelly Springs, passed away peacefully at Carolina Rehab of Burke on Sunday, July 16, 2017. Born in Burke County on November 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Maudie Kiser Hildebran. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arlin “Duck” Sain; 6 sisters and 9 brothers. She is survived by her daughters Pam Simpson and fiancé Roger Morrison, Donna Huffman and Dorothy Huffman and husband Ned all of Connelly Springs; sons Benny Sain and wife Rita of Hildebran, and Wayne Sain and wife Kristi of Connelly Springs; granddaughter Dakota Sain and Taylor Sain both of Connelly Springs; grandsons Benny Sain Jr. of Hickory, Jesse Sain of Hildebran, Timothy Huffman of Connelly Springs, Nathan Huffman of Hickory and Jamie Simpson and wife Melinda of Columbia, SC; great granddaughter Brianna Huffman and Kayla Huffman both of Lincolnton; great grandson Tyler Melton of Columbia, SC, and special family member Ann Sain of Lakewood, NJ. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Hickory Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Green officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Baptist Church cemetery.
