Jason, age 50, of Hickory, NC was born May 13, 1970 in Catawba Co. to his beloved mother, Patricia Tabor. He passed away in his residence on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

He attended St. Stephens High School and studied Business and Music at CVCC. Jason was a talented guitar player and songwriter, and loved to rock out with his band “Feast of Friends” and several other bands. Jason spent 16 years working at Sherrills Furniture Companies.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Junior B. Martin; grandmother, Betty Jean Lail Beard; and cousin Andrea Martin.

Surviving in addition to his mother Patricia are Uncles Todd Martin of Hickory; Jim Martin and wife Joy of Hickory; Mark Martin of Hickory; and a Aunt Marcie Beard and a number of cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
